Part of our vision and aim at Smili SA is the sense of responsibility to the society and the environment. For this reason, the Company in every project it undertakes, comes in direct contact with the local community and strengthens it with local actions, such as educational, sports related or environmental. The Company's strategy towards sustainability in the community, the environment and the economy, is a collective responsibility that requires the implementing of synergies that enable us evolve creatively. Thus, we have materialised a wide range of actions worth over € 50000 as of 2019 in key areas of the society and the environment. Other milestones of our Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) are the certifications we have obtained aiming at our environmental and social performance.

ENVIRONMENTAL RPOTECTION

Regarding Climate Change and Environmental Protection, Smili SA, recognizing that corporate development and technical projects must go hand-in-hand with the protection of the natural environment, respects and complies with all legal rules and requirements related to its function. Additionaly, where is possible, we use environmentally friendly materials and products, aiming to reduce the energy and environmental footprint across the life cycle of a project. #zeroenergybuildings Finally, the Company supports initiatives that go hand-in-hand with its vision for safe and clean environment, reinforcing the usage of electric mobility (#emobility) and the use of bicycles for traffic decongestion. The projects we choose to undertake are aimed at tackling global environmental problems, such as water scarcity, but also at building infrastructure that will support new and green practices (e.g. sustainable buildings) #breeam.

Our policy is to constantly evolve in order to achieve better environmental performance.

The engineering and design department of the Company, with its network of partners, provides specialized solutions for the development of thorough and complete studies. In projects for the private sector, in addition to preparing the studies, we also undertake the issuance of the corresponding building permit or operating license. Thus, achieving a smooth and rapid execution of any project within the framework of the required standards.

At Smili SA, the design, the worksite organization and their management are based on the optimization of services and are always in accordance with the needs and desires of the customers, aiming at excellent final results. The methodology to achieve all the above is as follows:

• Data collection and analysis; at this stage, the proprietary, spatial and technical data are analyzed and an initial technical report is prepared.
• Preliminary design with technical documentation of the project.
• Studies;  special technical studies (topographic, architectural, static, mechanical, electrical) together with economic and environmental studies, if required by the nature of the project.
• Implementation design; this is prepared according to the construction data of each project for its timely and financially successful implementation.

The aforementioned apply to buildings, hotels, schools, sport facilities and industrial buildings. The Company also takes up studies for special projects such as archaeological buildings, historic buildings, churches.

Our dynamic course in the field of construction enables us to implement construction projects in the public and private sectors, ensuring complete turn-key solutions.

Our specialized and extremely capable workforce, equipped with know-how and experience in project management, systematically implements challenging projects  based on modern technological standards and

The Company has its own proprietary logistical and mechanical equipment such as tracks, hoes, loaders and others, for the autonomous execution of technical projects.

Smili SA has the ability to provide operating and maintenance services for various infrastructures due to the cooperation of specialized scientific and technical staff, offering holistic and environmental-friendly solutions.

Already, the Company has today the operation and maintenance of a range of projects across Greece, such as:

• Buildings;
• Waste Water Treatment plants;
• Ski resorts, and
• Various electromechanical installations.
